After breakfast in hotel, you will meet the Omani Guide at 8:30am. The drive take around 2 hours towards Jabal Akhdar. We begin in Muscat itself and continue the drive towards the Hajar Mountains. We will have Picnic Lunch during the trip, camp on the edge of the mountains and watch Sunrise/sunset and back to Muscat around 6pm.

Enjoy Oman’s two million year-old Al Hoota Cave offers an incomparable experience for travellers. Within the cave is a fascinating ecosystem consisting of various rare species, making this natural wonder a symbol of Omani beauty. The cave has been formed and shaped by natural process over millions of years, creating stalactites hanging from the ceilings and stalagmites reaching up from the floor. Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel to embark you on Oman’s most priced possession filled with authentic cultural experience. We start from the hotel post breakfast at 8:30 Am and drive straight to Al Hoota Caves. Once the tour is over, there is short break for lunch and later proceed back to the hotel.

Close to the road leading to the heart of the capital Muscat stands the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Wilayat (district) Bawshar, like a radiant lighthouse attracting its visitors to interact with the spirit of Islam as a religion, science, and civilization. This mosque highlights its role as a scientific and intellectual source of knowledge across the Islamic world. After having an architectural competition to select the best design for Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, construction took six years. The mosque’s total capacity is 20,000 worshipers, and it covers an estimated area of 416,000 square metres. The main square-shaped prayer room can accommodate 6,500 worshipers and has a central dome which rises 50 metres above the floor. The mosque’s distinctive minaret lends it its individual style. Connecting the top of the mosque’s walls and the internal courtyard is a bar inscribed with verses from the Koran in Thuluth script, with Islamic geometric frameworks filling the corridor archways. The names of Allah are inscribed in the Diwani script on the corridors’ front walls.
